About Us
Mattress Concierge was founded in 2010 to provide mattresses and sleep products to the hospitality industry.
The company was founded by Jeff Rogers who spent most of his professional career working in the sleep products industry serving hospitality clients. Throughout his career, Rogers was known for designing and leading sales for Simmons and its Westin Heavenly Bed program in 1999. The brand became an icon in the industry not only for its design and marketing, but also because it was the first time that hotels started selling mattresses to guests.
In 2020 Rob Richards, who had worked alongside Rogers purchased the business from Rogers, who retired. Richards continued to focus the company on selling to the burgeoning luxury independent and boutique hotel sector. In 2024 the company began to be run by Maura Zambarano who continues to focus on the independent hotel industry providing durable, luxury and economical products to ensure their clients can provide the most elevated sleep experience for their guests. The heart of the company is a family run business with all operations taking place in Connecticut and focusing on providing the best customer service to their clients.
Since its founding, the company has exclusively partnered with Gold Bond, family-owned bedding manufacturer in Hartford, Connecticut, as its manufacturing partner. This partnership aligns with Mattress Concierge also being a family owned business. The company has the ability to handcraft all of Mattress Concierge’s products to its exact specifications.
Through the partnership, Mattress Concierge can offer a selection of products that use the highest quality materials, provide quick turnaround times for delivery, and even private label mattresses for its clients.
The company realizes that those in the hospitality industry highly prioritize comfort and durability when choosing mattresses for their property. For this reason, Mattress Concierge uses the highest density CertiPUR-US® foams in all of its mattresses for superior comfort, Leggett & Platt 1057 Bolsa Encased Coil with Quantum Edge coils surrounding the Bolsa innerspring system, as well as six-gauge steel border rods and 10 steel edge guards, creating the most supportive, comfortable, and durable hospitality mattresses in the market.
Mattress Concierge offers a recently launched Ultra Plush Line, Luxury Line and Classic Line available in firm and plush, as well as a Luxury Organic mattress that is composed of 100-percent natural Talalay latex and GOTS certified organic cotton and wool. The company also produces box springs and can supply other bed related items such as bed frames, mattress encasements and pillows.
Mattress Concierge has been providing mattresses to the most discerning clients in the hospitality industry since 2010. These exceptional mattresses are sought after by four-and five-star luxury hotels, inns, resorts, and boutique hotels. Founded 10 years ago, Mattress Concierge selected The Standard Mattress Company/Gold Bond in Hartford, Connecticut as our exclusive manufacturing partner. A fourth-generation family-run business since 1899, Gold Bond handcrafts all Mattress Concierge mattresses to our exacting specifications.
The team at the factory has an average tenure of 12 years, crafting mattresses by hand. Our competitors have removed these processes and materials over time as they focus on mass production, profitability, and their bottom line. Unlike our competitors, we do not robotically mass manufacture; our mattresses are handcrafted upon a client’s request. There are no warehouses full of mattresses that all look and feel the same, waiting for home delivery or inventory in retail stores. We can craft the highest quality mattresses while keeping costs down; we do not have to inflate our pricing to cover the overhead of warehouse space or brick & mortar retail and the sales staff therein.
